Interior Designer

We are looking Interior Designer is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing interior spaces that meet the aesthetic, functional, and safety needs of clients while adhering to project timelines and budgets. This role involves collaborating with architects, contractors, and clients to create interiors that are visually appealing, comfortable, and sustainable. The Interior Designer ensures that the designs comply with building codes, accessibility standards, and other relevant regulations, while effectively managing the selection of materials, furnishings, and finishes. This role plays a crucial part in delivering high-quality, innovative design solutions that enhance the overall user experience and contribute to the company's success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Design

2. Conceptualization: Develop creative and functional interior design concepts that meet client needs and align with project goals, such as Material/Mood boards, mock-ups and walkthroughs.

3. Space Planning: Optimize space utilization while ensuring aesthetics, comfort, and safety in design layouts.
4. Material Selection: Research and specify appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings, considering durability, sustainability, and design.
5. 3D Rendering & Visualization: Produce high-quality 3D models and visualizations for client presentations.
6. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with safety regulations, building codes, and ADA accessibility standards.

7. Sustainability: Integrate sustainable design principles into all projects, focusing on energy efficiency, eco-friendly materials, and waste reduction.

8. Drawings

9. Detailed Drawings: Produce and draft comprehensive design drawings, including floor/ceiling/wall and finishes plans, elevations, and sections.

10. Furniture and Fixture Plans: Develop accurate furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE) plans for all spaces.

11. Revisions Management: Coordinate and track revisions to ensure that changes are accurately reflected in drawings and documents.

12. Consultant Management

13. Quotation Requests: Request and evaluate quotations from consultants, negotiating fees and ensuring all necessary services are included.

14. Package Transmission: Transmit complete working packages to engineers, ensuring all necessary information is provided for project execution.
15. Coordination Management: Record and manage all coordination activities with consultants, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
16. Payment Management: Ensure timely payment of consultants, managing invoices and verifying the completion of work.
17. Work Audits: Conduct audits of engineering works to ensure compliance with design specifications and project requirements.

18. Revisions Coordination: Coordinate revisions and updates to plans, ensuring all changes are accurately documented and communicated.

19. Client Management

20. Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing regular updates on project progress.

21. Design Presentations: Present design concepts, updates, and final proposals to clients, incorporating feedback and ensuring satisfaction.

22. Approval Management: Obtain necessary client approvals and manage any modifications based on client feedback.

24. Supplier Coordination: Work closely with suppliers and vendors to source materials, manage deliveries, and negotiate pricing.

25. Consultant Collaboration: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure cohesive project execution.
26. Quotation Management: Request, evaluate, and manage quotations from vendors for design materials, furniture, and fixtures.

27. Client and Supplier Management: Maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers by ensuring clear communication, addressing concerns promptly, and coordinating project requirements to meet quality and timeline expectations.
