The Merchandising Assistant provides critical administrative and operational support to the Sports EQT team. This role ensures the accuracy of product data, the timely processing of merchandising requirements, and the smooth execution of day-to-day tasks. The coordinator supports the Category Heads by managing systems updates, documentation, inventory tracking, reporting, and cross-functional communication and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Product Data & Systems Management

  • Upload and update product information (codes, costs, SRP, descriptions, barcodes) in internal systems
  • Process price uploads, cost changes, markdowns, and promotional updates per category heads' requests
  • Handle item creation, modification, and maintenance of product coding accuracy
  • Process, submit, and track approvals (SAF, pullout forms, promotions)
  • Maintain updated records of supplier contacts, product files, and brand documentation

Inventory & Stock Coordination

  • Coordinate inter-branch stock transfers and pullouts from category heads' instructions
  • Assist in stock allocation for new deliveries and replenishments
  • Document damaged items, factory defects, and wrong uploads for proper resolution
  • Prepare recommendations for handling damaged items based on Category Heads' guidance

Sales, Data & Reporting

  • Consolidate sales performance reports and upload to shared systems
  • Support Category Heads in preparing data for sales analysis and presentations

Merchandising Execution

  • Request, track, and validate store POP displays and photos
  • Coordinate product photoshoots and upload requirements for marketing
  • Monitor planogram and VM compliance across stores
  • Assist in e-commerce item uploads, pricing checks, and stock availability online

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Liaise with warehouse, MIS, MPC, Ecom, MKTG, VM, Creatives, Finance, and Store
  • Operations for the smooth execution of merchandising processes
  • Assist category heads to follow up with Accounting/Finance on payments and processing concerns
  • Support events, sponsorships, and product demos through documentation and logistic coordination

Qualifications

  • Preferably graduate of Business Course
  • Fresh graduates are very much welcome to apply
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php20, Php22,000.00 per month
