This is a remote position.

  • Full-Time (40+ hrs/week): 

  • Work Schedule Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PST (1-hour unpaid break)

Responsibilities:

  • Handle patient inquiries and follow-up communications
  • Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients
  • Answer inbound and outbound phone calls
  • Manage patient appointments and scheduling
  • Provide bilingual support for Spanish and English-speaking patients
  • Perform general administrative tasks including file management
  • Handle email and calendar management
  • Conduct research as needed for the practice
  • Support practice operations during the onboarding phase and full launch

Scope:

  • Remote work arrangement with consistent Monday-Friday schedule
  • Healthcare receptionist role with potential for expanded administrative duties
  • Focus on patient communication and practice management support
  • Work directly with podiatrist owners during practice launch phase
  • Flexible scheduling options including potential weekend coverage
Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
  • Previous experience in healthcare or medical field is a must
  • Experience with insurance verification processes
  • Strong communication skills for patient-facing interactions
  • Administrative and organizational skills
  • Ability to work consistent schedule during practice hours
  • Familiarity with healthcare terminology and processes
