Located in the country's premier beach destination, Shangri-La's Boracay is a luxurious and serene haven for vacationers. Dramatically situated on a hillside in a flourishing nature reserve at the northern tip of Boracay Island, the 12-hectare resort is a 10-minute drive from the popular White Beach. The resort offers 219 rooms including 36 villas and suites; comprehensive leisure facilities; 350 meters of secluded beachfront; and a thriving ecosystem of diverse flora and fauna. Within the resort, guests may find a tranquil escape in Chi, The Spa.

DUTIES:

Under the general guidance and supervision of the Accounts Payable Supervisor and within the limits of established Shangri-La Boracay policies, procedures and Accounting Procedure Manual is responsible for the accurate and timely setting up and payment of liabilities; maintains subsidiary records of all liabilities and is fully familiar with the chart of accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in an International Hotel with a similar capacity.
  • Preferably an Accounting Graduate. Licensed Certified Public Accountant is a plus.
  • Fluent in Oral and Written English.
  • Must be a self-starter, guest-oriented, an eye for details, and flexible.
  • Computer Literate
