Human Resources Generalist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of HR-related duties, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR policy administration. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of HR best practices, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and extending job offers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in resolving employee relations issues and conducting investigations as needed.
  • Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave of absence requests.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
  • Support performance management processes, including performance reviews and goal setting.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a human resources generalist or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
