Objective

with 4–5 years of experience to manage, support, and optimize our central compute server and storage environment. This role ensures operational stability, high availability, disaster recovery readiness, security compliance, and effective collaboration across compute, network, storage, and cloud platforms.

Roles & ResponsibilitiesCore Compute Administration

  • Provision, configure, and manage servers across physical, virtual, and cloud platforms.
  • Administer and optimize VMware vSphere / ESXi, Hyper-V, or equivalent virtualization platforms.
  • Ensure efficient resource pooling, CPU/memory optimization, and workload balancing.
  • Manage firmware, BIOS, and driver updates for compute hardware.

Infrastructure & Systems Management

  • Support enterprise server platforms (e.g., Dell).
  • Manage Windows Server OS deployments (2016, 2019, 2022).
  • Conduct patch management, OS hardening, and compliance enforcement to maintain secure and stable systems.

High Availability & Disaster Recovery

  • Implement and maintain backup and restore procedures.
  • Manage disaster recovery site compute recovery processes using tools such as Veeam.

Security & Compliance

  • Enforce Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
  • Integrate authentication services such as LDAP, AD, and MFA for enhanced security.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

  • Utilize performance monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds) to track compute performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve CPU, memory, and I/O bottlenecks.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) to address compute-related incidents.

Collaboration & Documentation

  • Collaborate with network, storage, and security teams in integrated environments.
  • Develop and maintain runbooks, operational guides, and topology diagrams.
  • Provide clear communication for incident escalation and change management processes.

Qualifications

  • 4–5 years of experience in server compute operations or a related field.
  • Hands-on expertise with VMware vSphere / ESXi and Windows Server environments.
  • Experience managing AWS and Azure services.
  • Knowledge of Veeam backup and recovery.
  • Strong understanding of security, compliance, and monitoring practices.

Job Types: Permanent, Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Php90, Php100,000.00 per month
