Warehouse Operations
  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
  • Ensure accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and full physical inventory.
  • Implement and maintain First-Expiry-First-Out (FEFO) / First-In-First-Out (FIFO) principles.
  • Develop and enforce warehouse SOPs to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Maintain proper warehouse layout, racking, and space utilization.
  • Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper handling of FMCG products.
Logistics & Distribution
  • Plan and coordinate delivery schedules to meet customer and internal requirements.
  • Manage transportation partners and ensure cost-efficient delivery routes.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound logistics performance (OTIF – On Time In Full).
  • Resolve delivery issues such as delays, damages, or discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for transport and handling of goods.
Inventory Management
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement and production teams.
  • Investigate inventory variances and implement corrective actions.
  • Optimize stock rotation to avoid expiries and losses.
  • Use warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP for real-time inventory tracking.
People Management
  • Lead, supervise, and train warehouse and logistics staff.
  • Conduct performance reviews and implement improvement plans.
  • Ensure workload planning based on demand and manpower availability.
Cost Control & Process Improvement
  • Monitor and control warehousing and logistics costs.
  • Implement lean processes and continuous improvements to reduce waste.
  • Ensure accuracy of logistics documentation, delivery receipts, and shipping papers.
  • Analyze KPIs and prepare operational reports for management.
Health, Safety & Compliance
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure proper use of equipment (e.g., forklifts).
  • Conduct safety audits and coordinate preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, government standards, and FMCG industry requirements.

Required Experience (FMCG Environment)
  • At least 7–10 years of experience in Warehouse, Logistics, or Supply Chain roles.
  • Minimum 5 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
  • Strong background in FMCG warehousing operations, including high-volume and fast-paced environments.
  • Hands-on experience with WMS, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Netsuite, etc.).
  • Experience dealing with third-party logistics (3PLs) and trucking partners.
  • Proven track record in improving warehouse processes, optimizing costs, and achieving KPIs.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and proper product handling.
