Freelance English Subtitle Transcriber

As English Subtitle Transcriber, you'll be responsible for:

  • Transcribe and/or edit subtitles for English videos (Series, Movies, Talk Shows, etc.) using existing script or subtitle materials.
  • Create and/or edit subtitles or English Template for English videos using existing script or subtitle materials.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent command of written English.
  • Excellent listening skills to decipher spoken English in various dialects and accents.
  • Resourcefulness in researching facts or terminologies related to the project.
  • Familiarity with various TV series, movies, and cultures would be advantageous.
  • Willing to learn new things and enjoy new challenges.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and within limited time constraints.

Conditions:

  • This is a remote position.
  • Payment is made via PayPal or Payoneer within 30 days of receiving the original invoice (non-negotiable).
  • This freelance position is for pooling, and job availability and frequency may vary depending on the client's needs.
  • Note that expected tasks may or may not be limited to subtitle transcription. Necessary training for the task will be provided upon onboarding.
