We are currently looking for a Purchasing Supervisor/Assistant Manager who will be responsible for managing the entire procurement process, from sourcing to delivery. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders. The Procurement Supervisor will ensure that the company secures high-quality products at competitive prices while maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely deliveries.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identify, research, and build relationships with suppliers to meet the company's internal and external merchandise requirements.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, ensuring that items meet specified quality and requirements.
  • Oversee and maintain procurement documentation, including Price Lists, Purchase Orders (POs), supplier contracts, and other related files.
  • Review, compare, and analyze price quotations and product specifications to make informed procurement decisions.
  • Monitor and ensure that orders are delivered on time and match the specifications and quantities requested.
  • Regularly assess supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, reliability, and adherence to delivery schedules.
  • Ensure that all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations, and prepare regular reports on procurement activities for management review.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Business Management or any related field
  • Must have prior experience in procurement, supply chain management, or purchasing roles
  • Must have strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with a structured approach to managing tasks
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build positive supplier relationships
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
