About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Travel Account Specialist in our Bridgetowne site. This full-time, virtual role will see you providing exceptional customer service to our valued clients in the travel industry. As part of our growing Call Centre & Customer Service team, you will play a crucial role in delivering a seamless and positive experience for our customers.

What you'll be doing

  1. Handling inbound customer service calls and inquiries related to travel bookings and reservations
  2. Providing accurate and timely information to customers on product offerings, policies, and procedures
  3. Resolving customer issues and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner
  4. Upselling and cross-selling relevant travel products and services to customers
  5. Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and transactions
  6. Adhering to quality assurance standards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  7. Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and ensure a consistent customer experience

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service or call centre role, preferably in the travel industry
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers
  3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle customer queries and complaints
  4. Proficiency in using computer systems and various software applications
  5. Flexible and adaptable to work in a virtual environment
  6. A passion for providing exceptional customer service and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations
