About the role
We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Travel Account Specialist in our Bridgetowne site. This full-time, virtual role will see you providing exceptional customer service to our valued clients in the travel industry. As part of our growing Call Centre & Customer Service team, you will play a crucial role in delivering a seamless and positive experience for our customers.
What you'll be doing
- Handling inbound customer service calls and inquiries related to travel bookings and reservations
- Providing accurate and timely information to customers on product offerings, policies, and procedures
- Resolving customer issues and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner
- Upselling and cross-selling relevant travel products and services to customers
- Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and transactions
- Adhering to quality assurance standards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and ensure a consistent customer experience
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service or call centre role, preferably in the travel industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle customer queries and complaints
- Proficiency in using computer systems and various software applications
- Flexible and adaptable to work in a virtual environment
- A passion for providing exceptional customer service and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations
