JOB SUMMARY:

Direct and manages the overall activities of the department to ensure continuous engineering and technical support to the other organizations in M&E to enable compliance with regulations. Directs the evaluation of Airworthiness Directives (AD) Services Bulletins (SB) and other publications to determine modifications, inspections or repairs that will be accomplished on the aircraft.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor all aircraft, support equipment and component maintenance
  • Plan, coordinate and schedule the aircraft maintenance procedures
  • Develop process improvements for aircraft installation and maintenance activities
  • Ensure aircraft maintenance is performed in compliance with federal regulations and industry standards
  • Troubleshoot and repair discrepancies of electrical, flight control, hydraulic, landing gear, engine and fuel systems
  • Guide and train team members in proper maintenance activities

Requirements:

  • Possess appropriate Education training in engineering, maintenance planning, and Production planning, Quality Control and training requirements as may be required
  • Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or associated engineering courses
  • Working experience in the field of aviation at least (5) years or (3) years as mechanic, engineer, planner or such other positions in Aviation
