Key Responsibilities

SAP PP (Production Planning)

  • Configure and support core PP processes including Material Master, Bill of Materials (BOM), Work Centers, Routings, and Production Versions.
  • Implement and support MRP runs, production order creation, scheduling, and shop floor execution.
  • Optimize capacity planning and production execution processes.
  • Ensure integration with Materials Management (MM) and Sales & Distribution (SD) modules.

SAP QM (Quality Management)

  • Configure inspection types, inspection plans, quality notifications, and results recording.
  • Support quality inspection processes in procurement, production, and delivery stages.
  • Ensure proper defect tracking, corrective actions, and audit trail compliance.
  • Integrate QM processes with PP and MM to maintain end-to-end quality control.

Cross-Functional Activities

  • Work with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
  • Translate business needs into SAP functional specifications and collaborate with technical (ABAP) team for custom developments.
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and UAT with end-users.
  • Provide end-user training and prepare system/process documentation.
  • Offer Level 2/3 functional support for PP and QM issues and enhancements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, or related field.
  • 4 years of hands-on functional experience in SAP PP and QM.

  • Solid knowledge of:

  • Production execution, MRP, and capacity planning.

  • Quality inspections, notifications, and results management.
  • Master Data (Material, BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Inspection Plans).
  • Experience with at least 1 end-to-end SAP implementation or multiple rollout/support projects.
  • Strong business process knowledge in manufacturing and quality management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work closely with stakeholders.
  • Amenable to work 2-3 days Onsite and Midshift schedule (3pm-12am)
Preferred Skills
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA (PP & QM) and Fiori apps.
  • Understanding of MES or shop-floor systems integration.
  • Knowledge of Agile project methodology is desirable.
