About the Job

Our Cloud Infrastructure Team is looking for an Associate Cloud Engineer with foundational skills in cloud computing and system administration. This role offers hands-on experience in managing cloud environments for Filipino businesses, while receiving mentorship, training, and certifications to accelerate your career.

As an official Google Partner, AWB gives you the opportunity to gain direct exposure to Google Cloud solutions while supporting real-world ERP and business systems that make a difference to Filipino clients and enterprises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Launch and support Odoo ERP deployments on Google Cloud
  • Provision and maintain virtual machines, manage storage, and ensure system reliability
  • Work with databases such as Cloud SQL for backup, restore, and optimization
  • Troubleshoot GitLab self-hosted environments (user access, repo backup, CI/CD runners)
  • Handle Google Workspace Level 1 support such as account setup, email configuration, and policy enforcement
  • Manage domain and DNS configurations across registrars and platforms
  • Support backup and disaster recovery plans
  • Create and update documentation, checklists, and runbooks
  • Collaborate with developers and engineers during deployments, upgrades, and maintenance

Qualifications

  • At least 1–2 years of professional experience in cloud engineering
  • A degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Confidence with Linux systems and command-line interfaces
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud services (VMs, storage, databases) or AWS
  • Experience with Git or platforms like GitLab
  • Exposure to supporting local/Filipino businesses is highly preferred
  • (Bonus) Experience with , CI/CD, or Google Workspace Admin Console
  • Some knowledge of scripting (Bash or Python)
  • Understanding of backup/restore strategies and basic networking/DNS concepts
  • Willingness to learn, improve, and document knowledge
