Position: Social Graphic Designer
Work Hours: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm EST
Company/Client Overview:
The client's company, a fast-growing wearable sticker bracelet – is scaling rapidly. After a 5X growth in the last year and a team expansion from 5 to 18, they are looking for an experienced, tech-savvy Social Graphic Designer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about crafting engaging and visually appealing graphics specifically for social media platforms, with a strong emphasis on designs that are cute and kids-related. You will be responsible for utilizing and modifying existing assets as well as creating new visuals that align with our brand's fun and playful aesthetic.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and produce high-quality, engaging graphics for various social media platforms, including expertise in both square (1:1) and horizontal formats (e.g., stories, headers).Focus on developing cute, whimsical, and kids-related designs that capture the audience's attention and maintain a consistent visual style.Modify and utilize existing design assets effectively, ensuring high-quality output and brand consistency across all visual communications.Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to translate marketing goals into compelling visual content.Manage and prioritize multiple design projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Must-Have Skills & Experience
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for image editing and manipulation.Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for vector graphics and illustration.A strong eye for design, including typography, color theory, and layout principles.Proven experience in social media design, specifically adapting designs for different social media formats (square, horizontal, etc.).Demonstrable experience creating cute and kids-related designs.Desired Skills (A Plus)
Experience with Dropbox for file sharing and management.Familiarity with Notion or similar tools for team collaboration and project tracking.A good sense of branding and the ability to maintain and enhance brand identity through design.Skill in art illustration (drawing and digital painting).Application Requirements
Applicants must submit a portfolio showcasing their best design work.The portfolio should prominently feature examples of cute or kids-related graphic designs (if available) to demonstrate relevant experience.
