Job Summary:

The Accounting Petty Cash Fund Officer is responsible for managing, recording, and safeguarding the company's petty cash fund. The role ensures that all disbursements are properly documented, authorized, and recorded in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain custody of the company's petty cash fund and ensure its safekeeping at all times.
  • Process petty cash requests and reimbursements in accordance with company policies and approval procedures.
  • Record all petty cash transactions accurately and update the petty cash logbook or system daily.
  • Ensure all petty cash disbursements are supported by valid receipts, vouchers, and approval forms.
  • Conduct regular reconciliation of the petty cash fund to ensure that balances are accurate and supported by receipts.
  • Prepare and submit petty cash replenishment reports to Accounting or Finance for fund replenishment.
  • Monitor petty cash usage to ensure compliance with company policies and identify any irregularities or unauthorized expenses.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling financial transactions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in accounting, cash handling, or related financial roles.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and petty cash management procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording financial data.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Trustworthy, reliable, and able to maintain strict confidentiality.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php16, Php18,000.00 per month
