About the role

AMA Computer College Inc. is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join our dynamic team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and analysis of the company's financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements
  • Analyse financial data and provide insights to support decision-making by senior management
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company's accounting records
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
  • Supervise and mentor the accounting team to maintain high standards of financial reporting
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance with a professional accounting certification (CPA or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting, preferably in the education or service industry
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, standards and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient in using financial reporting software and spreadsheet applications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
