JOB SUMMARY:

The incumbent is responsible for accuracy of records of transactions, compliance with the reportorial requirements of the government and following the Alagang Mahalaga way of life, provides financial statements to the Accounting Manager, Finance Manager, and external auditors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborates with Financial Reporting Supervisor in supervision with the Financial Reporting Associate to help ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Observes accounting policies in recording of financial transactions to provide reports that comply with the reportorial requirements of the Management and the government.
  • Reviews accuracy of cash flows thru reconciliation of balances on ERP versus bank reconciliation on a monthly basis.
  • Prepares and generates monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for the Accounting Manager and Finance Manager. and assists in preparation of the consolidated report to the management.
  • Assists external auditors during periodic audit engagements.
  • Maintains and analyzes subsidiary ledgers and account schedules to ensure the accuracy of recording of accounts reflected in the financial statements.
  • Identifies issues in the subsidiary ledgers and schedules and communicate with internal customers.

QUALIFICATION:

  1. Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy, or equivalent.
  2. With at least five (5) years work experience in financial accounting.
  3. Must possess results-oriented and communication skills.
  4. Preferably with knowledge of financial transaction workflows using ERP systems and MS Office.
  5. CPA is an advantage.
