Position Title: E-Commerce Chargeback & Fraud Analyst

Main Purpose of the Role: The E-Commerce Chargeback & Fraud Analyst is responsible for managing and resolving chargebacks, maintaining accurate reporting procedures, and facilitating efficient communication across teams. This role also involves daily monitoring of e-commerce sales data to identify patterns of fraud, credit card misuse, and other suspicious activity.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and respond to chargeback disputes in a timely and accurate manner

Review daily e-commerce sales orders and customer accounts to detect potential fraud

Identify and investigate trends or patterns related to fraudulent activity or credit card misuse

Maintain detailed records and reports of disputes and fraud cases

Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and email follow-ups as needed

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and timely resolution of issues

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Economics or a related field

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and electronic payment systems

Understanding of industry regulations and fraud prevention standards (preferred but not required)

Preferred Qualifications:

1–2 years of experience in e-commerce, fraud detection, or risk operations

Prior exposure to chargeback resolution or credit card industry practices

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Experience working in a corporate or cross-functional team environment
