As a
Business Data Analyst,
you will provide data analysis services to the client to deliver solutions that are aligned with strategic operations. You will be responsible for data analysis within the team and collaborate with other project managers and web developers to understand the data and to structure the end deliverables.

Roles & Responsibilities
:

  • Develop the codes to analyze data using SQL Advanced (ANSI SQL, PostgreSQL or MS SQL) and Python for Data Management and Transformation
  • Retrieve data using SQL across the analysis lifecycle including extensive knowledge of joins, aggregate functions, procedures, views and related SQL features
  • Assist with investigations into potential solutions, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and liaise with relevant technical experts and contribute to developing scalable, reusable solutions
  • Understand the landscape of descriptive, predictive, inferential and prescriptive analytics.
  • Understand RDBMS and database paradigms (cloud, on-prem), cloud solutions, data management lifecycle
  • Understand processes for data intake, validation, mining and engineering as well as modeling, visualization and communication deliverables.
  • Top of the line technical stakeholder/relationship management – both in terms of written and spoken modes of communication to communicate the crux of solutions in a succinct way
  • Be able to develop one page slides, technical documentation and solution briefs to communicate proactively with the client
  • Ensure the completion of all projects are delivered on-time with no compromise on accuracy and optimal time utilization
  • Keep up with latest developments in analytics, data technology to explore recommend solutions for clients – especially within Python/SQL domain

Qualifications
:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • Must have 3-5 years of relevant work experience in SQL
  • Advanced Excel skills including data transformation experience
  • Experience in Python, Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio or similar tools will be an advantage
  • BFSI (Banking, Financial Services and Insurance) background is preferred but not required
  • Understand key Agile Project Management principles, values and practices
  • Amenable to work on a hybrid setup in BGC, Taguig and morning shift
  • Willing to work on a 6-month fixed-term contract with possible extension
