Job Description

The Accounts Payable Associate will be responsible for processing, monitoring, and managing all company payments to vendors and service providers. This role ensures accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with financial policies and procedures. The position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively under deadlines while maintaining good relationships with suppliers and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, review, and verify all invoices, expense reports, and payment requests.
  • Ensure proper documentation and approval of payment transactions.
  • Accurately encode invoice details into the accounting system.
  • Prepare checks, online bank payments, and other payment methods according to schedule.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain an updated record of accounts payable transactions.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal departments regarding billing inquiries or issues.
  • Assist in month-end closing by providing accounts payable reports and schedules.
  • Comply with company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards.
  • Support the Finance Department in other accounting-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Local resident of Davao City.
  • 2–4 years of work experience in accounts payable, accounting, or finance-related roles.
  • Graduate of Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related course.
  • Proficient in accounting systems/software and Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in processing financial data.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with vendors and internal teams.
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of government compliance requirements (BIR, VAT, withholding tax) is an advantage.
  • Can start immediately.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php14,000.00 per month
