About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Assistant Manager to join our growing team in Makati. This role will support the Accounting Manager in overseeing daily financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and mentoring the accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
