The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for forecasting demand, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring seamless supply chain operations. This role collaborates closely with sales, marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and align inventory strategies with business goals.

  1. Budget Management

  2. Ensure efficient utilization of resources within approved budgets.

  3. Track and manage planning activities to support Budget Compliance.

  4. Project Management

  5. Lead and implement Special Projects related to demand planning, system improvements, or process optimization.

  6. Drive Learning & Growth initiatives by training and developing team members in demand planning tools, forecasting methodologies, and supply chain practices.

  7. Forecast Accuracy

  8. Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and sales insights.

  9. Utilize statistical models and forecasting tools to predict product demand.

  10. Monitor forecast accuracy and refine methodologies to reduce errors, ensuring alignment with Forecast Vs. Sales MAPE.

  11. Customer Fill-rate

  12. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to improve product availability.

  13. Monitor and ensure alignment of purchase order (PO) quantities versus delivered quantities to meet Customer Fill-rate KPI.

  14. Stocks to Sales Ratio (SSR)

  15. Balance stock levels for Imported Items and Local Items to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.

  16. Recommend corrective actions for excess and obsolete inventory.

  17. Rolling Forecast

  18. Manage and maintain the Order Plan, ensuring alignment between demand forecasts and procurement/supply chain capacity.

  19. Participate in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings to align rolling forecasts with business objectives.

  20. Sales Achievement

  21. Support sales performance by providing accurate forecasts and ensuring product availability.

  22. Generate insights and strategies that contribute to achieving overall Sales Achievement
