Philippines Direct Sourcing Solutions Full time $60,000 - $120,000 per year

This role is only open for candidates that are legally allowed to work within the Philippines.

We are currently looking for a Senior Accountant who will function within the accounting team with a focus on preparation of financial reports, accounting, consolidation and other reportorial requirements. You will be part of the team who can deliver accurate financial reports and apply industry-compliant principles, under limited supervision, and work independently. This role is responsible in providing outsourced accounting and finance support for clients.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare and send cash balances and outstanding debtors reports to management.
  • Perform Bank and Credit Card Reconciliation on a regular basis.
  • Check placement invoices against placement reports for accuracy.
  • Create and process placement invoices for Presto.
  • Prepare and send Accounts Payable summary for manager approval.
  • Enter all creditor and contractor invoices and ensure timely processing.
  • Upload payments from Xero to ANZ and send for review.
  • Process payments for creditors and staff expense claims.
  • Set up on-cost recharge from ONZ to Presto.
  • Reconcile Southern Cross and ACC-related reports.
  • Prepare monthly payment schedules and summaries.
  • Update AMEX/ANZ Visa summaries.
  • GST Preparation
  • Performs other tasks as may be assigned.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Accountancy
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • With at least more than 7 years' experience in general accounting and accounts payable functions ideally in a BPO setup
  • Experience in a New Zealand based Chartered Accountancy firm including Hong Kong and Singapore accounting experience is an advantage
  • Must have experience in using financial accounting software/systems, particularly Xero (must be Xero Advisor Certified)
  • Leadership experience is an advantage.
  • Experience with monthly accounting, annual forecasting, and budgeting. Management reporting
  • Have good communication and presentation skills.
