What You'll Do:

  • Keep the company compliant with BIR, PEZA, BOI, and SEC rules—making sure all reports and filings are done on time.
  • Handle VAT, income tax, withholding taxes, and other government requirements.
  • Work closely with auditors, consultants, and government offices.
  • Review financial reports to ensure they're accurate and follow PFRS standards.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting tasks—GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and month/year-end closings.
  • Prepare schedules and documents for audits and inspections.
  • Manage PEZA/BOI reporting and make sure incentive requirements are met.
  • Keep strong internal controls in place to protect company assets.
  • Help with budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
  • Guide and support the accounting team so they can do their best work.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy; CPA is required.

  • At least 4 years of experience in accounting or audit, preferably with exposure in external auditor public accounting firms.

  • Experience working with PEZA and/or BOI-registered companies is highly preferred.

  • In-depth knowledge of Philippine tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.

  • Proficient in using accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, or similar ERP platforms).

  • Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
