Logistics Associate

List of Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate international shipments – plan container loads, select freight partners, book space, and track orders from pick-up to warehouse delivery.
  • Maintain logistics data – keep ETD/ETA, cost, and tracking information current in internal dashboards and project tools.
  • Manage supplier & forwarder communication – secure quotes, negotiate rates, share shipping documents, and follow up on pickup, customs, and delivery milestones.
  • Oversee import compliance – prepare and validate commercial invoices, packing lists, HS codes, and other customs documentation.
  • Update product & cost records – capture accurate landed costs, carton specs, and duty rates in ERP and reporting systems.
  • Liaise with warehouses – provide advance arrival notices, loading details, and required documentation to ensure smooth receipt and put-away.
  • Support financial controls – reconcile freight and duty invoices, flag variances, and route approved charges for payment.
  • Drive continuous improvement – highlight risks, propose cost-saving opportunities, and deliver concise weekly logistics status reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics role, preferably within the Amazon and eCommerce Private Label industry.
  • Experience working with eCommerce platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and other marketplaces.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management systems and processes, including ERP or inventory control software.
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems and financial planning tools is a plus.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and logistics partners.
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, well-organised, and known for a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
