Job Summary:

The Accounting OJT will assist the Accounting Department in performing day-to-day financial and administrative tasks. The trainee will gain practical experience in accounting processes, financial record-keeping, and reporting while supporting the team in ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing, sorting, and filing accounting documents such as invoices, receipts, and vouchers.
  • Encode financial data into the accounting system or spreadsheets.
  • Help in the preparation of monthly financial reports and summaries.
  • Assist in accounts receivable and accounts payable monitoring.
  • Support in bank reconciliation and petty cash monitoring.
  • Perform clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and organizing documents.
  • Assist in payroll preparation and government compliance (if applicable).
  • Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by the Accounting Department.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in BS in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, or any related course.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and willing to learn.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
