The Area Sales Supervisor provides leadership, training, and support to store teams, while also monitoring inventory levels, visual merchandising, and store profitability across multiple store locations within an assigned area. This role ensures the achievement of sales targets, excellence in customer service, and adherence to brand standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead the sales team to achieve individual and area sales targets.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market reach and maximize revenue.
  • Monitor daily sales operations and ensure proper execution of marketing programs and promotions.
  • Conduct regular field visits to assess team performance and gather market insights.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers, and partners.
  • Prepare and submit periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.
  • Coordinate with other departments (marketing, logistics, and finance) to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Train, coach, and motivate sales representatives to enhance productivity and customer engagement.

Education Attainment: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

Qualifications

  • At least 2–3 years of experience in sales supervision or field sales, preferably in retail, FMCG, or distribution.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Results-oriented, organized, and able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willing to travel and work in the field as required.
