What you'll be doing

  • Inspect and maintain construction equipment such as cranes, excavators, and other heavy machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, and coordinate with maintenance teams to implement timely repairs
  • Oversee the implementation of preventive maintenance programs to minimise equipment downtime
  • Analyse equipment utilisation data and provide recommendations to improve efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards
  • Collaborate with project managers and site teams to plan and schedule equipment deployment
  • Provide technical guidance and training to equipment operators and maintenance staff

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 3 years of experience as an Equipment Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction equipment and machinery, including their operation, maintenance, and repair
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, technical drawings, and maintenance logs
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve equipment-related issues
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required
