The Head Engineer is responsible for leading the engineering department or team in planning, designing, executing, and overseeing all technical and engineering aspects of a project or operations. This role ensures that engineering projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards. The Head Engineer also provides technical guidance, manages engineering staff, and ensures compliance with local regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership & Management
  • Plan and manage engineering projects from concept to completion.
  • Allocate resources, set timelines, and manage budgets.
  • Coordinate with other departments (procurement, construction, quality assurance).
  • Design & Technical Oversight
  • Review and approve engineering plans, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Conduct feasibility and technical studies.
  • Solve complex engineering problems and provide innovative solutions.
  • Team Management
  • Lead and supervise a team of engineers, drafters, and technical staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide mentoring/training.
  • Ensure team adheres to engineering standards and practices.
  • Quality & Compliance
  • Monitor implementation of engineering processes, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Ensure all projects comply with national/local engineering codes and labor laws.
  • Conduct site inspections and risk assessments.
  • Communication & Reporting
  • Report project status to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, and government agencies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php60, Php70,000.00 per month
