Facility Management Engineer

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

MAJOR:

1. Maintenance Planning and Scheduling

2. Develop maintenance plans and schedules for routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs.

3. Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to execute maintenance tasks.

4. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations during maintenance activities.

5. Budget Management

6. Create and manage the facility maintenance budget, including cost forecasting and expense tracking.

7. Seek cost-effective solutions for repairs and improvements without compromising quality.

8. Supervision and Team Management

9. Oversee a team of maintenance technicians, janitors, and contractors.

10. Assign tasks, set performance expectations, and provide training and guidance to team members.

11. Facility Inspection

12. Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and compliance issues.

13. Develop reports and prioritize maintenance tasks based on inspection findings

14. Equipment and Asset Management

15. Maintain an inventory of facility assets and equipment.

16. Ensure equipment is properly maintained and serviced according to manufacturer recommendations.

17. Emergency Response

18. Develop and implement emergency response plans for facility-related incidents, such as power outages, floods, or fires.

19. Coordinate emergency repairs and ensure the safety of occupants during emergencies.

20. Vendor and Contractor Management

21. Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to procure materials and services.

22. Monitor contractor performance and adherence to contracts and agreements.

23. Compliance and Regulations

24. Stay updated on local, state, and federal regulations related to facility maintenance, safety, and environmental standards.

25. Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

26. Energy Efficiency and Sustainability

27. Implement energy-saving and sustainability initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.

28. Evaluate and recommend upgrades or retrofits for energy-efficient systems.

29. Documentation and Reporting

30. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment manuals, and warranties.

31. Generate regular reports for management on maintenance costs, progress, and recommendations.

32. Support in ensuring that the Quality Management System requirements are being followed and complied.

MINOR:

1. Lead incident investigation process, including root cause analysis and identification of corrective action plans.

2. Participate in formal site EOSH reviews of existing equipment modifications, facilities, traffic flow, warehouse layout, new equipment purchases, and any changes in site processes.

3. Review, Calibrate, and Implement periodic Preventive Maintenance Schedules for Electrical systems, HVAC, and Power Generating equipment.  Oversee and supervise team of service / maintenance technicians, 100% compliance to scope of work.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

• Graduate of 5 Year University Course, Preferably Civil or Electrical / Electronic Engineering

• OSHA / EOSH CERTIFIED

• Registered Civil or Electrical / Electronics Engineer – is an advantage

• Experience with ISO14001 and OSHA / EOSH CERTIFIED

• At least 5 years Operational exposure to Production Processes, and Logistics Operations

• Proven experience in facility maintenance and supervision.

• Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance best practices

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Budget management and financial acumen

• Knowledge of safety regulations and emergency response protocols

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Technical knowledge in electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems – Diagnostics and Troubleshooting

• Willing to be assigned at KM 22 East Service Road Cupang, Muntinlupa City.
