Key Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and prepare legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence for California civil or family law cases

File legal documents electronically through California court systems (including e-filing platforms)

Maintain case files and deadlines using legal case management software

Assist with case organization, discovery processes, calendaring, and document preparation

Communicate professionally with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel

Provide administrative support, including scheduling, document management, and trial preparation

Qualifications:

3-5+ years of direct experience as a Paralegal or Legal Admin in California civil or family litigation

Strong knowledge of California court procedures, filings, and deadlines

Experience with both civil and family litigation

Proficiency with legal case management software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, PracticePanther, or similar platforms)

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication

Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
