Position Summary

The Billing Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of billing processes. This role involves analyzing financial data, validating invoices, resolving discrepancies, and supporting reporting requirements to maintain smooth revenue operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Invoice Preparation & Validation
  • Generate, review, and validate customer invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure billing aligns with contracts, purchase orders, and company policies.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Analyze billing data to identify trends, errors, or inefficiencies.
  • Prepare regular reports on billing accuracy, revenue recognition, and outstanding balances.
  • Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure adherence to tax regulations, audit standards, and internal controls.
  • Maintain accurate billing records and documentation for audit readiness.
  • Dispute Resolution
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies in coordination with clients and internal teams.
  • Provide clear communication to stakeholders regarding billing issues.
  • Process Improvement
  • Recommend and implement improvements to billing workflows and validation procedures.
  • Support automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce manual errors.
  • System Management
  • Utilize ERP/financial systems (e.g., Business Central, LS Central, SAP, Oracle) for billing operations.
  • Assist in system testing and updates related to billing modules.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or financial analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of billing processes, compliance standards, and financial systems.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and timeliness.
