Head of Accounting & Financial Operations This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to key financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You'll be working closely with stakeholders across the business to support strategic decision-making and ensure financial accuracy and integrity.

Key Responsibilities: Overseeing financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures. Managing audits and identifying opportunities for cost savings.

Financial reporting and compliance. Accounting operations. Financial controls and governance.

Cash flow and treasury management. Team leadership and development. Process improvement and technology.

Partnership and collaboration. What you'll bring: A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is essential. Recognised accounting qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CMA, CPA or equivalent).

At least 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, with 3–5 years in a leadership role. Proven expertise in financial reporting, auditing, and compliance (exposure to IFRS and US GAAP desirable). A proactive approach combined with strong attention to detail.

Ability to lead and mentor those around you. Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems (NetSuite/SAP preferable). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Agility with a problem-solving mindset, recommending best practices and adapting to current business context. Strong working knowledge of accounting and operations processes/practices and an appreciation of how to evolve towards best-in-class using systems and automation. A good sense of humour.
