Senior Issuing Manager (AVP) Issuing Department

Job description:

  • Lead the end-to-end development of new credit card products, from market analysis and partner collaboration to launch and post-launch performance.
  • Drive strategic planning and innovation in the card issuing business to meet growth and profitability targets.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with issuing partners—ensuring alignment on objectives and execution of joint initiatives.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and consumer behavior analysis to inform product enhancements and market differentiation.
  • Oversee and support acquisition campaigns, product promotions, and partner-led initiatives that grow cardholder volume and engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across operations, marketing, and analytics to ensure seamless execution and performance tracking.
  • Represent the Issuing team in high-level meetings, providing thought leadership and actionable insights that shape business strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance policies related to card issuing.

Qualifcations:

  • A seasoned professional in the credit card industry, with proven experience in product development or product management within card issuing.
  • Skilled in managing B2B partnerships, particularly with banks, financial institutions, or fintech firms offering card-based solutions.
  • Well-versed in the credit card lifecycle, from conceptualization and development to launch, distribution, and performance optimization.
  • Adept at analyzing market data, partner metrics, and customer insights to drive product innovation and business growth.
  • An excellent communicator with strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of relational databases is a plus.
