Senior Instructional Content Designer and Trainer
Purpose of the role

The Instructional Content Designer and Trainer is an experienced professional whose purpose is to engage and inspire learning through technology. The position is responsible for the analysis, design and development of print and multimedia learning solutions, including games, animation, digital video, etc., while applying the principles of Instructional Systems Design and adult learning theory, producing learning solutions for both internal and external customers.

The Senior Instructional Content Designer and Trainer directs projects, researches and recommends solutions to complex training issues, appropriate delivery systems based on product design, and works with little supervision on typical instructional development projects and products. The position is an integral part of Amadeus instructional developers and trainers whose deliverables support corporate goals.

In this role you'll:
  • Conduct needs assessments and analyzes related tasks as a method of designing and developing training programs in English and potentially other languages to include multimedia solutions
  • Develop and maintain all e-learning solutions including and certification questionnaires
  • Maintain internal and external relationships with departments responsible for defining Amadeus products and customers to maintain and up-date the existing instructional resources
  • Use established evaluation processes to ensure the continuing relevance of training to business needs
  • Serves as Subject Matter Expert in providing consultancy to internal customers
  • Curate courseware and documentation to ensure appropriateness of design, functional accuracy, instructional integrity, language and branding/writing standards
About the ideal candidate:
  • 1 year working experience in e-learning development
  • Familiar with e-learning development tools such as Articulate Storyboard and Wellsaid Labs
  • Designing and developing training programs in English (or other languages which would be an added advantage) to include multimedia solutions as well as participant guides and instructor guides
  • Previous customer training experience
  • Functional and technical knowledge of airport and airlines products and operations
  • Management of Learning Management Systems and content solutions
  • Experience in training design and delivery
  • Proven communication - Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Write clear and well-structured documentation
  • Planning and organization - Ability to prioritize and plan activities required to achieve results
  • Goal oriented and action-focused, pragmatic and self-disciplined
  • Open to work in a hybrid set-up.
