About the role

We are looking for a talented and dedicated Content & Video Moderator to join our team at iOPEX Technologies Philippines Inc. in Taguig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time role that will involve moderating content and videos for a major US news platform. As a key member of our customer service team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and appropriateness of the content published on the platform.

What you'll be doing

  1. Reviewing and moderating content and videos submitted by users to ensure they adhere to the platform's guidelines and policies
  2. Flagging any inappropriate, offensive or potentially harmful content for further review
  3. Providing detailed feedback and recommendations to improve the quality of user-generated content
  4. Collaborating with the content team to develop and refine moderation guidelines and processes
  5. Maintaining accurate records and documentation of moderation activities
  6. Proactively identifying trends and patterns to help improve the overall quality of the platform's content

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience in content or video moderation, ideally within a customer service or call centre environment
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and constructive feedback
  3. Strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently apply moderation guidelines and policies
  4. Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills to navigate complex content issues
  5. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  6. Familiarity with US news and media industry is a plus
