Technical Support Specialist will be responsible in Yondu headquarters operation focused on monitoring and maintaining computer systems and local networks of the organization. He / She will be provisioning, organizing, modifying, and supporting the company's computer and local network access. He / She will provide second level support to ensure that all queries and issues are properly addressed and resolved. The Junior Technical Support will be working together with the rest of the IT team in ensuring smooth operation activities for Managed Services with adherence to agreed Service Level Agreement.

Provide second-level support to queries and issues raised in accordance to incident management and request fulfillment

process.

Responsible for installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications

Troubleshooting system, PABX and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults via remote access or on-prem dispatch.

Ensure that service incident tickets are acknowledged, escalated and resolved according to Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Supporting the roll-out of new applications and evaluating new hardware and software technology

Perform periodic backup, performance tuning, resource optimization as part of maintenance.

Prepare reports and assure that information is readily available.

Administration and management of IT assets (mobile service units, laptops and other IT assets

Any other work-related tasks assigned.

Education - Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent

Related Work Experience -  At least 6 months of experience in a Technical Support role

  • Experienced in administering production Windows environment and Local Area Networking

Knowledge –   In-depth Knowledge  in the following:

  • Proficient in deploying Windows OS for desktop and laptop
  • Background in the managing Windows Services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Fileserver running in
  • Windows Server
  • Knowledgeable in Windows powershell scripting
  • Knowledgeable in local area networking, wireless network, hybrid PBX and All-in-one printer setup
  • Knowledgeable in using open source technology

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Must be adept to work in a fast-paced environment with tight SLAs
  • Willing to work extensive hours and be on-call
