Warehouse Custodian/Assistant

REPORTS TO
: Branch Operations Supervisor

• A. JOB PURPOSE

Receives products delivered to the branch, maintains inventory of goods, and implements good warehouse practices

• B. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receives and verifies delivered products as against delivery invoices.

• Physically inspects the products for damage or breakage and files documents for ease of retrieval.
• Manage and organize products in the stockroom (and in the selling area for self-service stores) according to the standard planogram and following First-in-first-out standards.
• Implement security guidelines in the stockroom and store areas. Accountable for handling keys to the stockroom and restricting entry to authorized persons.
• Pick and bag products ordered by dealers following packing standards.
• Perform cycle count in coordination with the Branch Supervisor for reconciliation of any product variances and physical verification and counting of stocks once a month.
• Prepare and submit reports on time as requested by Supply Chain Management.
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time

• C. QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of any course or Grade 12 graduate with previous analogous work experience preferred.

• Can manage basic Microsoft office applications on a computer
• Good communications and interpersonal skills
• Able and willing to do physical activities such as lifting product boxes and bagged products for Dealers.
