About the role

Linkage Foods Ventures Corporation is seeking an experienced Bakery Shift Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our state-of-the-art bakery facility in Pasig City. This full-time role will involve leading and managing a team of bakers and production staff to ensure the efficient and consistent delivery of high-quality baked goods.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of bakery production staff, including bakers, mixers, and packaging teams
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and production schedules
  • Monitor inventory levels and work with the procurement team to maintain adequate supplies of raw materials
  • Troubleshoot any production issues and implement corrective measures to minimise downtime
  • Provide training and mentoring to production staff to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with the production planning team to optimise workflow and identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Maintain accurate records of production data, including output, waste, and equipment performance

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a bakery or food production supervisory role
  • Strong technical knowledge of baking processes, equipment, and quality control procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address production challenges
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with a focus on fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Proficient in using production management software and data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams
  • Relevant qualifications in food technology, production management, or a related field
