Job Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our Finance Team, focusing on the financial aspects of supply chain and importing operations. You will play a key role in conducting ad-hoc analyses, creating insightful financial models, and delivering accurate reporting to support critical business decisions. The role requires expertise in Oracle ERP, Excel, and Power BI to transform data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze expenses related to procurement, logistics, and inventory
  • Create and maintain schedules for containers in transit, ensuring timely updates
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost-saving strategies
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements
  • Build financial models to evaluate various business scenarios
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
  • Perform variance analysis to identify and explain performance gaps
  • Develop and maintain financial dashboards and reports for management
  • Use Excel and Power BI for data modeling, visualization, and reporting
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, and other teams to ensure data accuracy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis (distribution, logistics, or manufacturing preferred)
  • Proficiency in Oracle ERP and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with Power BI or other BI tools
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in cost tracking and variance analysis for large-scale operations
  • Familiarity with financial modeling and dynamic report creation
