JOB SUMMARY
The Corporate Planning Associate provides critical support in the planning, execution, and monitoring of the company's strategic initiatives and business plans. The role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure alignment with corporate objectives, analyzing performance results, and preparing comprehensive reports and recommendations for the President and management team.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
Strategic Planning Support
Assist in the formulation, documentation, and updating of the company's strategic and annual business plans.
- Monitor progress and milestones of strategic initiatives and ensure timely implementation.
Coordinate with departments to gather inputs, validate data, and ensure alignment with corporate priorities.
Performance Monitoring and Analysis
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), operational targets, and financial metrics.
- Identify variances, issues, and areas for improvement based on actual performance versus plan.
Prepare dashboards, scorecards, and summary reports for management review.
Research and Business Analysis
Conduct internal and external research to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Benchmark company performance and practices against industry standards and competitors.
Provide insights and recommendations to enhance efficiency and business growth.
Reporting and Documentation
Prepare periodic performance and strategy progress reports for the President and Executive Committee.
- Draft management presentations, briefing materials, and recommendation papers.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and clarity of data and analyses.
Corporate Planning Coordination
Support the scheduling, facilitation, and documentation of strategic planning workshops, review sessions, and management meetings.
- Assist in the preparation of planning materials and communication of strategic directions across departments.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Management,
Finance, or related field.
Experience: Preferably with at least two (2) years of experience in corporate planning, business analysis, or management reporting.
Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Collaborative and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
