Business Support Lead / Operations Coordinator

Client: Australia-based; Remote

Shift: Day / Morning PHT

Type: Full Time, Independent Contractor

Overview

Our client is an Australian casual staffing agency, specialising in events, promotions & hospitality. We have been established for 11 years and while still a small business, we experience considerable growth year after year. Our workforce consists of 500 casual employees that we manage nationally. We are a young, fun & dynamic team and we are looking for an experienced Business Support Lead to work with us on-going to help support our clients.

Qualifications:

  • Overseeing the internal hiring process
  • Onboarding and Offboarding of employees
  • Planning training & overseeing new hire settling in for 3 months
  • Assessing workload capacity levels
  • Ensuring WHS compliance - assessing & updating processes/forms
  • Balancing the workload of the Ops team in high & low periods
  • Organising & spearheading cultural activities
  • Getting tech support for the team as needed & solving tech issues
  • other ad hoc duties that may be assigned

Home Office Requirements:

  • Internet Connection : Must be 35 mbps at the least, preferably wired connection with PLDT, Cable connection is fine if it's more than 5mbps. We DO NOT accept plug-ins, wi-fi or wimax.
  • Computer/Laptop: The contractor must have a good working computer.
  • Headsets : The Contractor must have noise cancelling headsets, preferably Plantronics Blackwire C320M headsets. Assessment will be done during test calls.
  • Dedicated Home Office - Contractors are required to have a dedicated home office free from noise and distractions.
  • Webcam - for meeting purposes
  • Must be comfortable in working with Time Doctor/Screenshot Monitor

Job Type: Full-time
