Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions for enterprise-level systems. This role is ideal for a seasoned developer who values code quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement, and who is eager to contribute to a growing technology organization with strong international exposure.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, participate in technical design discussions, and play a key role in delivering reliable and scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain software solutions based on technical and functional requirements
  • Write clean, efficient, well-documented code following industry best practices
  • Develop and execute unit tests to ensure system reliability, performance, and quality
  • Participate in technical design reviews to ensure alignment with requirements and optimal implementation
  • Provide accurate effort estimates and contribute to sprint and project planning activities
  • Collaborate closely with system analysts, QA engineers, and fellow developers to clarify requirements and resolve technical issues
  • Support release activities, including preparation and review of deployment and release documentation
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve defects identified during testing or post-release, including root cause analysis
  • Actively participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous process improvement initiatives
  • Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience as a software developer
  • Strong object-oriented programming and design skills
  • At least 7 years of hands-on experience in Java development
  • Solid experience in developing web and mobile web applications
  • Proficiency in J2EE, Spring Framework, and JSP
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, Angular, or AngularJS
  • Experience in API integration
  • Basic working knowledge of .NET C# (minimum 1 year)
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and pride in delivering quality work
  • Professional, reliable, and proactive work attitude
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to work effectively both as an individual contributor and as part of a tea
Good to Have / Preferred Skills
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience working with offshore or international teams
  • Technical design experience
  • Familiarity with reporting tools or related frameworks
  • Exposure to Microsoft Azure technologies
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools
  • Strong SQL skills, including writing and optimizing queries
  • Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining cloud-native Java applications on Azure
