Please be informed that this role is for a Junior Accountant, given the limited position title in the job posting.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the daily accounting operations of the company as assigned that cater services but not limited to condominium, housing, foundation, property management services, leasing, etc.
  • Develop, implement, and document effective processes and procedures for effective control of the accounting operations. To be maintained on an ongoing basis.
  • Maintain and assist the management of Computerized Books of Accounts (CBA) in Xero Cloud Based Accounting System.
  • Ensures that the monthly closing is in line with corporate requirements.
  • Responsible for the month-end and year-end closing books of accounts and other activities.
  • Ensure that control processes and procedures are implemented for all financial accounts.
  • Ensure proper implementation of policies and procedures in safeguarding the company's assets and internal control.
  • Responsible for the preparation of monthly financial statement package.
  • Responsible to the external compliance requirements in BIR, SEC, LGU and others including preparation of reporting an analysis.
  • Provide support and guidance during audits.
  • Perform other tasks or assignments that may be required by superior or management from time to time.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Management Accounting.
  • With experience in GL accounting and External Compliance.
  • With analytical skill, organizational skill, and interpersonal skill.
  • With sound professional judgement and decision-making skills
  • Computer and system literate and has intermediate to advance spreadsheet skills.
  • With experience in using accounting system such as Xero, IFCA, Acumatica or any other related ERP System.
