The Assistant Accounting Manager will support the Accounting Manager by overseeing key accounting functions, including financial analysis, inventory management, and profitability analysis. This role ensures the accurate implementation of accounting procedures and provides critical financial reports to management, while maintaining confidentiality and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing financial reports and providing analysis to guide management decisions.
  • Supervise branch inventory systems using accounting software (e.g., AX, SAP).
  • Analyze quarterly profitability, identifying project gains or losses and conducting related research.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, maintaining data integrity and accuracy.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team, promoting high performance and effective problem-solving.
  • Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in managing financial information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
  • At least 5 years of accounting experience, with proven leadership capabilities
  • Proficient in AX, SAP, or similar accounting systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience managing accounting operations
  • High level of integrity and experience handling confidential financial data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
