Warehouse Operations:

  • Manage all aspects of warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management.
  • Ensure all inbound and outbound shipments are processed accurately and on schedule.
  • Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to maintain data accuracy.
  • Identify and resolve inventory variances or discrepancies promptly.

Team Management:

  • Lead and supervise warehouse personnel, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Delegate tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching and direction to the team.
  • Train employees on standard operating procedures, safety measures, and equipment use.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and deliver constructive feedback.
  • Address staff concerns, maintain discipline, and foster a positive work environment.

Warehouse Safety & Maintenance:

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Enforce compliance with all safety policies and regulations.
  • Perform regular inspections to identify and eliminate safety hazards.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse tools and equipment.
  • Investigate and document any accidents, incidents, or injuries.

Logistics Coordination:

  • Coordinate with logistics partners and carriers for all incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Track deliveries and resolve transportation or delivery issues as needed.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Implement process improvements aimed at boosting productivity and reducing operational costs.

Data Entry & Reporting:

  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of warehouse transactions using WMS or ERP systems.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse KPIs, including order accuracy, inventory turnover, and productivity.
  • Use data insights to recommend and implement operational improvements.
