We are looking for a Scrum Master who will serve as a servant-leader, ensuring that agile values, principles, and practices are consistently applied. The Scrum Master will support the team in becoming self-organizing, high-performing, and focused on delivering quality results. This role requires excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication skills to bridge collaboration between teams, product owners, and stakeholders.

Key ResponsibilitiesAgile Facilitation & Coaching

  • Lead and coach the team in adopting Agile and Scrum practices, helping them progress in Scrum maturity.
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives).
  • Encourage transparency, continuous improvement, and effective communication within the team.
  • Remove impediments and guide the team in problem-solving to maintain focus on sprint goals.

Team Management & Support

  • Build a safe and trusting environment where team members can raise issues without fear of blame.
  • Promote a positive and collaborative culture that empowers team members to self-manage.
  • Ensure that the team delivers work that meets the Definition of Done (DoD).
  • Protect the team from external distractions, scope creep, and unnecessary pressure.
  • Support team members in resolving conflicts and overcoming performance challenges.

Collaboration with Product Owner

  • Act as a key link between the team, Product Owner, and stakeholders.
  • Support backlog refinement and prioritization to ensure stories are clear, estimated, and ready for development.
  • Help align product roadmaps, releases, and sprint planning with business goals.

Delivery & Reporting

  • Track team performance using agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts, defect trends).
  • Monitor capacity and utilization to ensure realistic sprint commitments.
  • Provide regular updates on sprint progress, release schedules, and impediments.
  • Ensure timely delivery of features and readiness of production deployments through coordination with other teams and vendors.

Continuous Improvement & Alignment

  • Promote a culture of inspection, adaptation, and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to align best practices across teams.
  • Participate in agile community events such as retrospectives, cadences, and guild initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile principles, Scrum framework, and servant-leadership practices.
  • Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to mentor and inspire teams to improve processes and deliver high-quality results.
  • Familiarity with JIRA or other Agile project management tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php80, Php130,000.00 per month
