A prestigious global bank is seeking an accomplished Head of Data Engineering to spearhead its data transformation initiatives in Manila. This is a rare opportunity to lead and scale a high-impact team of 50+ engineers, while shaping innovative data strategies at a global level. As the driving force behind the bank's data engineering capabilities, you will define the strategic vision, lead platform development (with a focus on Azure Databricks), and champion cutting-edge solutions that influence the bank's global operations.

ResponsibilitiesDefine and lead the strategic vision for enterprise data engineering. Design, develop, and optimise scalable data platforms and pipelines, with a focus on Azure Databricks. Build and mentor a high-performing data engineering team.

Collaborate with global stakeholders across technology, business, and data functions. Drive best practices in data governance, security, and compliance. Stay at the forefront of data innovation and emerging technologies.

Ideal ProfileExtensive leadership experience in data engineering within the financial services industry. Strong expertise in Azure Databricks and cloud-based data platforms. Proven track record in managing and scaling teams of 50+ engineers.

Good understanding of data architecture, big data, and real-time analytics. Strategic thinker with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Salary: Up to USD 25K/month + 2–3 months bonus
