EQUIPMENT ENGINEER

Job summary:

  • Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, installing, and optimizing equipment, including PLC systems, to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Perform regular maintenance on equipment to keep it running smoothly and reduce downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and fix equipment issues quickly to avoid delays.
  • Oversee the installation of new equipment, ensuring it's set up properly.
  • Monitor equipment performance, identify areas for improvement, and suggest improvements.
  • Update and maintain documentation, including manuals and maintenance logs.
  • Control and train technicians to ensure efficient operations and proper maintenance practices.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related fields.
  • Hands-on experience with preventive maintenance, machine troubleshooting and installation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
