Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Entertainment and Multimedia Computing, or a related field
- Proven academic and/or industry experience in technology-related fields, preferably with teaching, curriculum design, or program management background in higher education.
- Strong knowledge of CHED regulations, CMOs, and higher education compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage faculty teams, with experience in faculty development, academic planning, and program quality assurance.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies, education technology tools, and industry trends that influence curriculum relevance and graduate employability.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across academic and administrative units.
- Experience in building strategic partnerships with industry, government, and professional organizations.
- Commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and CIIT's mission of providing transformative, industry-based, and affordable education.
Responsibilities:
- Program and Curriculum Management
- Spearhead the design and modernization of innovative and future-ready degree programs in Computer Science (CS) and Entertainment and Multimedia Computing (EMC)
- Ensure all programs comply with CHED CMOs, government policies, and the Manual of Regulations for Higher Education
- Prepare, review, and enhance course offerings, syllabi, and reference materials to maintain academic quality and industry relevance
- Faculty Leadership and Academic Management
- Supervise the faculty pool for the program, providing mentorship, evaluation, and support for professional development
- Lead the technology course faculty in strategic planning, resource allocation, and continuous improvement initiatives for the program
- Foster a culture of teaching excellence, innovation, and research among faculty members
- Provide academic support and guidance to students to ensure timely program completion and readiness for industry or further study
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Admissions, Student Services, and Career Placement offices to ensure strong student recruitment, retention, and graduate success
- Create regular reports and updates for the Management Committee and School Board on program performance, challenges, and opportunities
- Collaborate with other academic and administrative units to deliver an integrated student experience
- Industry Linkages and Strategic Partnerships
- Identify and establish partnerships with industry leaders, professional organizations, and academic institutions to enhance program relevance and graduate employability
- Develop internship, practicum, and project opportunities in collaboration with external partners
- Ensure program graduates are equipped with both technical skills and industry exposure to thrive in the workforce
